We work with groups of varying size from small volunteer led to established registered charities.
Small Groups
The work of small groups responding to local need is a key part of an effective civil society and Community Action Sutton is developing a Small Group Development Framework to enable it to better understand the needs of small groups and to be responsive in working with small groups in ways that suits their circumstances. As well as working with small groups individually, Community Action Sutton also facilitates a quarterly small groups forum. This is a space for small groups to come together to hear about what is going on in Sutton and to share their challenges and identify opportunities.
Faith Groups
Community Action Sutton recognises the important role that faith groups play in enhancing the quality life for local residents and to support them in this we offer one to one capacity building support as well as facilitating a local interfaith forum.
