Working with local communities and supporting them to develop local action is a priority for Community Action Sutton. A place based approach will enable the assets within local areas to be combined with voluntary and community sector and public sector resources to turn the ideas of local people in terms of how they want to build their local community into action that can then be supported by Community Action Sutton.

Community Action Sutton provides a voice on behalf of the voluntary and community sector and it works with other voluntary and community sector leaders to ensure that the challenges facing the local sector and local communities is communicated to the key decision making boards and forums in Sutton.
