The Milan group based in Sutton provides activities and social events for older residents to help address loneliness and social isolation.

Unfortunately the group had been unsuccessful when applying for funding, they reached out to us following engagement with our Community Development team and with our expert guidance and support they re-applied and were successful in receiving funding from the National Lottery Awards for All Fund.

The funding is being used to run an older people’s luncheon Club. This club has proved to be a lifeline for some of Sutton’s older residents.
